WARNING
Walk-In Feature Safety Warning
Never operate the 2nd-row walk-in release switch or pull the manual strap while the vehicle is driving or when the 2nd-row seat is occupied. Unintended seat activation while in motion causes the seat to pitch forward rapidly, creating serious injury risks to Kia Sorento occupants.
Upon activating the walk-in release switch or manual strap, the 2nd-row seatback automatically folds flat toward the cushion and slides the entire seat assembly forward to create a wide entryway to the 3rd row.
WARNING
Manual Strap Usage Precautions
Do not pull the emergency release strap when the 2nd-row seats are occupied by passengers.
Rapid, sudden movement of the seat assembly during movement can lead to personal injury. The emergency pull strap should only be utilized in instances where the electronic one-touch folding switches located on the upper seatback or lower outer base of the 2nd-row seat fail to operate inside your Kia Sorento.
