Kia Sorento: Starter Removal

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

| 3. |
Remove the ETC module.
(Refer to Fuel System - "ETC")
|
| 4. |
Remove the intake manifold stay (A).
|
| 5. |
Disconnect the starter cable (A) from the B terminal on the solenoid,
then disconnect the connector (B) from the S terminal.
|
| 6. |
Remove the 2 bolts (C) holding the starter, then remove the starter.
|
| 7. |
Remove the 2 bolts holding the starter, then remove the starter
(A).
