Kia Sorento: How to Delete Digital Key 2 (Smartphone Keys)To safely delete or revoke smartphone digital key access from your Kia Sorento system memory, launch the vehicle using your primary physical smart key fob. Keep the smart key inside the passenger cabin for the duration of the deletion procedure to verify system authorization.
To delete all registered smartphone digital keys:
|
|
With the engine running or ignition ON, navigate on your central touchscreen to Setup > Digital Key > Smartphone Key > Delete All.
Executing this command permanently clears both the primary owner key and all shared user key authorizations stored within your Kia Sorento onboard computer.
If no smartphone keys are currently paired with the vehicle, the Delete All option will remain grayed out and non-selectable.
To delete individual primary owner key access (My Smartphone Key):

TIP
Deleting your smartphone digital key through the vehicle infotainment screen automatically removes the paired digital key token saved inside your phone's digital wallet app once connected online.
Deleting a digital key directly within your smartphone wallet interface will synchronously erase its corresponding authorization entry saved inside your Kia Sorento onboard system.
Shared user access keys cannot be managed or individually purged directly from the infotainment screen without executing a full system reset or removing them via the primary owner's Kia Access app interface.
Simply uninstalling or removing the Kia Access app from your device does not revoke vehicle access; the stored Digital Key 2 profile remains valid inside your mobile wallet until explicitly deleted.
You can quickly suspend or reactivate digital key operational permissions directly within your device's native digital wallet app provided by your smartphone manufacturer.
TIP
Infotainment screen structures, menu paths, and feature layouts are subject to refinement following periodic software updates. For updated menu navigation, refer to the digital user manual integrated into your touchscreen interface or consult your quick reference guide.
To delete shared digital keys by user profile:
On your infotainment touchscreen, tap Setup > Vehicle > Digital Keys > Smartphone Key > Shared Keys > [Group] > Delete.
Secondary guest keys registered outside of the primary owner profile are organized into logical groups based on sharing permissions and displayed under the Shared Keys tab.
If multiple shared keys originate from the same user account or distribution batch, they group together under a unified cluster identifier, allowing you to purge shared access by group batch or individually.
