CAUTION

To reduce the risk of serious personal injury or electrical fire hazards:

• Never plug in high-wattage heating appliances such as coffee makers, electric toasters, space heaters, or clothing irons, as their power draw far exceeds the inverter's safety limits.

• To avoid dangerous electrical shocks, never touch or insert metallic foreign objects into the live AC prongs.

NOTE

• To protect the vehicle battery from total discharge, never operate the AC inverter system when the engine is turned off.

• Always unplug external electronic equipment immediately after use. Leaving high-wattage equipment connected for prolonged durations will drain the battery of your Kia Sorento.

• Never connect or operate any electronic device with a continuous power consumption rating exceeding 150W at 115V.

• Certain sensitive electronic appliances can introduce high-frequency electrical noise, causing audible speaker feedback and temporary operational errors in other vehicle control modules.

• Refrain from using damaged, frayed, or shorted electrical accessories, as they can permanently ruin the vehicle's onboard inverter unit and internal wiring harness.

• Do not attempt to power two or multiple electronic appliances simultaneously via power splitters, as overloading the circuit will trigger automatic shutdowns or system damage.

• If the vehicle's charging system experiences low input voltage, the outlet indicator LED will flash, and the AC inverter will automatically deactivate to protect vehicle electronics. Normal operation resumes automatically once system voltage stabilizes.
