When operating in Level 2 (Strong), the system automatically steps down to Level 1 (Weak) after approximately 30 minutes of continuous operation.
If left uninterrupted by the driver, Level 1 heating will be maintained steadily until the vehicle ignition is turned off.
To turn the steering wheel heater off manually at any time, press and hold the heating button until the indicator light switches off.
CAUTION
Do not install aftermarket steering wheel covers, wraps, or thick grips, as they can severely impair heat transfer and damage the internal heating elements.
When cleaning the steering wheel surface, avoid harsh organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, rubbing alcohol, or gasoline, which can permanently ruin the leather or synthetic finish.
Be careful not to strike the steering wheel rim with sharp tools or keys, which can puncture the material and sever the delicate internal heating wires.
WARNING
If the steering wheel surface feels excessively hot, turn the heating system off immediately. Prolonged exposure to low-level heat sources can cause thermal skin irritation or minor burns over extended periods.
