Kia Sorento: Front seat adjustment for power seat : (if equipped)If your Kia Sorento is equipped with full power seat controls, you can precisely calibrate the driver's seat position using the intuitive electronic control switches located on the lower outer trim of the seat cushion. Prior to starting the engine or driving, take time to adjust your seating position so that your legs easily depress the brake and accelerator pedals and your hands comfortably reach the Kia Sorento steering wheel, gear selector, and dashboard controls.
WARNING
Unattended Children Safety Hazard
Never leave young children unsupervised inside your vehicle. Unattended children could accidentally manipulate the motorized power seat switches or other vehicle controls, leading to severe physical entrapment, pinch injuries, or accidental vehicle movement in your Kia Sorento.
NOTE
Power Seating Care and Operational Guidelines
The power seating mechanisms in your Kia Sorento are operated by precision electric drive motors. Continuous or prolonged activation without pause can overheat and damage the electrical circuitry or trip internal thermal fuses.
Do not depress or operate two or more power seat control switches simultaneously. Multi-button operation can overload the power seat motors, burn out internal switches, or damage underlying electrical wiring components.
