Kia Sorento: Radiator Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery terminals.

Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Intake And Exhaust System - "Air Cleaner")
|
| 3. |
Remove the under cover.
(Refer to Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")
|
| 4. |
Loosen the drain plug, and drain the coolant.
Remove the radiator cap to speed draining.

| 5. |
Remove the front bumper.
(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")
|
| 6. |
Remove the radiator upper hose(A) and lower hose(B).
|
| 7. |
Remove the cooling fan.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Cooling Fan")
|
| 8. |
Separate the condenser(A) from the radiator(B) and then remove the radiator
assembly.
|
| 9. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
| 10. |
Fill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks.
