Kia Sorento: Inside rearview mirror

Adjust the interior rearview mirror so that you enjoy an unobstructed, centered field of view directly through the rear window. Always complete this adjustment before setting your vehicle in motion.

Avoid placing bulky items, luggage, or cargo in the rear seats or trunk area that could block your line of sight out the rear window.

Mirror adjustment

Never attempt to adjust the rearview mirror while driving your Kia Sorento, as taking your attention away from the road could cause you to lose vehicle control.

WARNING

Do not modify the interior rearview mirror in any way, including mounting aftermarket panoramic wide-angle mirrors. Doing so can cause personal injury during a severe accident or interfere with proper cabin airbag deployment.

NOTE

Mirror cleaning

When cleaning the mirror glass, apply household glass cleaner to a soft paper towel or microfiber cloth rather than spraying it directly onto the glass. Direct spraying can allow liquid cleaner to seep into the internal mirror housing and damage electronic components.
