Kia Sorento: Forward and backward (2nd row seat)

To slide the 2nd-row seat assembly forward or backward along its floor tracks:
- Locate and pull up firmly on the seat slide adjustment bar located under the front edge of the 2nd-row seat cushion, holding it in the raised position.
- Slide the seat body along its track forward or backward to optimize legroom between rows or expand rear trunk space in your Kia Sorento.
- Release the adjustment bar completely and push firmly back and forth on the seat assembly to ensure the floor
latches engage securely into a locked position.
Important Verification: Always adjust rear seats before embarking on a trip. Verify that the 2nd-row seat is locked by physically pushing against the seatback without pulling the release bar. If the seat shifts along the track, it is unlocked and must be re-seated before driving your Kia Sorento.
