Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to Restraint - "Driver Airbag (DAB) Module and Clock Spring")

| 3. |
Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to Steering Wheel - "Steering Wheel Assembly")
|
| 4. |
Disengage the steering wheel remote switch connector assembly.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Audio Remote Control")
|
| 5. |
Remove the flex streeing switch (A).
|
| 6. |
Installation is the reverse of the removal.
|
Flex Steering Inspection
1.
Check the audio flex streeing switch (A) for resistance between
terminals in each switch position.
