Kia Sorento: Battery Removal

Disconnect the battery (-) terminal and (+) terminal (A).
|
| 2. |
Remove the battery mounting bracket (B) and the insulation pad
and then remove the battery (C).
|
| 3. |
Remove the air cleaner.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")
|
| 4. |
Remove the battery tray (A) after removing the bolts (B).

Battery Installation
1.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Battery (-)terminal installation
nut:
4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.4 lb-ft) ...
