Kia Sorento: Air ventilation seat: (if equipped). Sun visor
|
The airflow intensity and cooling ventilation level for the seat cushion and backrest adjust smoothly according to the switch lever positions.
To activate forced air ventilation through your seat surface, press the control levers accordingly.
Each time you press the control lever, the operational airflow mode cycles in a continuous loop:
OFF > High > Medium > Low > OFF
To ensure energy efficiency upon vehicle entry, the seat ventilation and heating systems default to the OFF position whenever the ENGINE START/STOP ignition button is turned ON.
TIP: If the Idle Stop and Go (ISG) system temporarily shuts off the engine during a traffic stop, this function automatically manages the seat temperature settings (shifting from High to Low) to preserve comfortable cabin conditions in your Kia Sorento.
NOTE: Seat Protection Guidelines
When cleaning the seats, avoid harsh organic solvents like paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline, which can ruin the perforated upholstery and clog the ventilation blower channels.
Do not place heavy or sharp objects on the seating surface that could crush or puncture the internal blower ducts.
Take precautions to avoid spilling beverages or liquids onto the seats. If liquid is accidentally spilled, wipe the area completely dry with a clean towel before operating the air ventilation system.
Use the adjustable sun visor to effectively block glaring sunlight entering through either the front windshield or the side windows of your Kia Sorento.
|
To operate the sun visor:
Press the ON button
to illuminate the
built-in
vanity lamp while using the mirror. Always remember to press the OFF button
to turn off the light before flipping
the sun
visor back to its stowed position.
The convenient ticket holder strap (4) is designed to securely hold parking passes or tollgate tickets.
WARNING
Always adjust the sun visor so that it does not obstruct your vital forward or peripheral driving field of vision.
NOTE
Do not wedge multiple cards or thick ticket stacks into the ticket holder simultaneously, as doing so can overstretch and permanently damage the retaining clip.
