Kia Sorento (MQ4, 2021-2026) Owner's Manual / Controls and Features / Automatic climate control system: (if equipped) / Scheduled ventilation control

Scheduled ventilation control is a sophisticated climate management feature designed to actively expel stagnant, trapped hot air from the cabin of your parked Kia Sorento, significantly lowering interior temperatures before you even open the doors. Depending on prevailing outside temperatures, the blower fan operates for a programmed duration between 5 to 15 minutes while the vehicle remains safely parked.

Turning scheduled ventilation control ON or OFF

To activate or deactivate this feature, select Setup > Vehicle Settings > Automatic Ventilation > Scheduled Ventilation on the infotainment display of your Kia Sorento. Departure times can be scheduled up to 24 hours in advance, ensuring your cabin remains comfortable on demand. Note that scheduled ventilation will only execute once properly configured and enabled within the system menu.
