Kia Sorento: Climate control air filter. Air conditioning (A/C) refrigerant label: (if equipped)
The cabin climate control air filter removes microscopic dust, pollen, and other pollutants that enter your Kia Sorento from the outside environment. If dust or other pollutants accumulate in the filter over time, the airflow from the air vents may decrease noticeably. This leads to moisture accumulating on the inside of the windshield even when the fresh air intake mode is selected.
At this time, replace the climate control filter. If you find it challenging to perform this maintenance yourself, have the climate control filter replaced by an authorized Kia service center. For details on how to replace the climate control air filter, refer to the dedicated replacement guidelines.
CAUTION
Replace the climate control air filter according to the factory Maintenance Schedule. Failure to replace the climate control air filter on a regular basis can result in decreased airflow, diminished heating and cooling performance, and unpleasant odors inside your Kia Sorento.
NOTE
If the airflow from the air vents suddenly decreases unexpectedly, have your vehicle checked by an authorized Kia dealer.
