Kia Sorento: Adjusting instrument cluster illumination

To fine-tune the backlight brightness of your Kia Sorento instrument panel, press the illumination control buttons (“+” or “-”) while the ignition switch or ENGINE START/STOP button is turned ON, or whenever your exterior tail lights are active.

WARNING

Never adjust the instrument cluster illumination settings while actively driving. Doing so introduces severe visual distractions, which could result in a loss of vehicle control and lead to a dangerous accident causing serious injury or property damage.
