Kia Sorento: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering column")

Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body - "Crash pad")
|
| 4. |
Remove the ignition switch (A) after disconnecting the 6P connector
(A).

| 5. |
Remove the key warning and immobilizer connector (A).
|
| 6. |
Remove the key illumination lens (A).
|
| 7. |
Remove the key illumination bulb and cover (A).
|
| 8. |
If it is necessary to remove the key lock cylinder (A), remove
the key lock cylinder with key ACC.
