Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds (A) after removing
3 screws.

Disconnect the light switch connector (A) and the wiper switch
connector (B).

Remove the wiper switch (A) by pushing the lock pin (B).
|
5. |
Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering column and shaft")

6. |
Remove the clock spring.
(Refer to Restraint - "Airbag module")
|
7. |
Loosen the screws from the multifunction switch assembly (A).

Rear Driveshaft Removal and Installation

Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from rear hub.
Tightening torque:
88.2 ~ 107.8 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 79.5 lb-ft)
