Kia Sorento: Interior lightsYour Kia Sorento features a comprehensive array of carefully positioned interior illumination fixtures designed to maximize cabin visibility and convenience during nighttime operation.
CAUTION
To avoid premature vehicle battery discharge, avoid leaving the interior cabin lights switched on for extended periods when the engine is not actively running.
WARNING
Do not operate bright interior lights while driving through unlit environments at night. Unnecessary cabin illumination can create reflections on the glass and obscure your external field of view, potentially leading to dangerous traffic accidents.
Should the interior lights be left switched ON, the vehicle's electrical control module will automatically cut power to the fixtures approximately 20 minutes after the ENGINE START/STOP button is turned OFF.
If your Kia Sorento is equipped with a factory theft alarm system, the interior lamps will automatically extinguish approximately 5 seconds after the security system is successfully armed.
