Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery
cable.

Disconnect the ECM Connector (A).

Remove the battery.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")

Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

Remove the mounting bolt (A) and nuts (B), and then remove the
ECM (C).

6. |
After romoving the installation nuts (A) and screws (B), romove
the ECM (C) from the bracket.
