Coat hook

A convenient fold-away coat hook is positioned right next to the rear passenger grab handle for your everyday travel needs.

The actual physical configuration and appearance of features may slightly differ depending on your specific Kia Sorento trim level.

NOTE

Hanging clothing

Do not hang exceptionally heavy winter garments or large overcoats from the hanger hook, as excessive weight may permanently warp or damage the hook fixture.

WARNING

Do not hang rigid objects aside from clothing, such as rigid clothes hangers, umbrellas, or heavy hard-shell accessories. Never put heavy, sharp, or breakable objects inside the pockets of garments hanging on the hook. In the event of a collision or when the side curtain airbag deploys, loose hanging items can turn into dangerous projectiles, causing severe vehicle damage or bodily injury to occupants inside the Kia Sorento.

Side curtain: (if equipped)

Retractable rear window side sun curtain deployed in the Kia Sorento cabin

To use the side curtain:

  1. Lift the integrated window curtain upward using the dedicated adjustment knob (1).
  2. Securely hook the upper corners of the curtain onto both mounting hooks on either side of the window frame.

    NOTE

    • Always attach both sides of the window curtain evenly onto the support hooks. Hooking only a single side puts uneven mechanical stress on the fabric and could damage the side curtain mechanism.

    • Ensure no foreign materials, loose debris, or clothing items get trapped between the door trim and the retracting side curtain, as obstructions can prevent the curtain from lifting smoothly.
