Highway Driving Assist Malfunction

(A) Check Driver Assistance system message

If the Highway Driving Assist (HDA) system in your Kia Sorento detects a fault or experiences a system error, the master warning light (Master warning light icon for Kia Sorento) will illuminate on the instrument cluster. This is accompanied by an informative warning message that remains visible for several seconds to alert the driver. Should this notification occur, we recommend having the Highway Driving Assist system inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible to ensure proper functionality.

Limitations of Highway Driving Assist

Highway Driving Assist and the associated Highway Lane Change Assist may demonstrate abnormal behavior or unexpected deactivation under the following conditions:
