Shark-fin antenna

The aerodynamic shark-fin antenna mounted on your Kia Sorento efficiently transmits and receives essential communication frequencies, including AM/FM radio and GPS navigation signals. Additional frequencies and services are supported depending on your specific vehicle trim and package options.

Always verify vertical clearance before entering low-ceiling structures such as underground parking garages or automated car washes to prevent accidental physical damage to the antenna.
Exercise caution when loading bulky cargo or luggage onto the roof rack to avoid striking or putting pressure on the antenna housing, which can degrade signal transmission and reception performance.

USB port

Conveniently use the integrated USB port inside your Kia Sorento to plug in a compatible USB flash drive for media playback or data transfer.

NOTE

Do not force the console tray cover shut if it does not clear an inserted USB stick. Forcing the lid closed can permanently damage the USB port, your storage drive, or the cover itself.

If a flash drive gets wedged into place, forcing the cover open can similarly break the connected device.

If your storage stick exceeds the available clearance, leave the tray cover open and utilize a compact, low-profile USB drive instead.
